August Wilson Portrait

Portrait of acclaimed Pittsburgh playwright "August Wilson At His Type writer". Ceramic tile and relief sculpture, all made in Simon studios. 8' diameter, commissioned by the Jeron X. Grayson Community Center. The project creates a mosaic pocket park in the Hill District neighborhood where August Wilson lived and wrote about. The text features some of his writings from Radio Golf, and Gem Of The Ocean.
